Config Dump

For debugging or recovery purposes it is useful to gather as many information as possible about your installation of Sophos UTM. The support package that can be downloaded from the Support > Advanced > Config Dump tab provides exactly this. The zip file contains the following items:

• The entire dump of the configuration of Sophos UTM (storage.abf). Note that this is no genuine backup file—it does not contain any passwords, among other things—and can be used for debugging purposes only.
• Information on the hardware present in the system (hwinfo).
• Information on the software packages installed on the system (swinfo).
