How to configure the endpoint devices

Note: The steps in this section must be performed by the end users.

Users must install the Sophos Connect client on their endpoint devices and import the configuration file to the client.

There are two ways to get the required installer and file:

• Your administrator distributes them to you.
• You download the files yourself from the UTM User Portal.

Sophos Connect can be installed on Windows and macOS. With Android and iOS devices, download the configuration files for these devices from the User Portal for use with OpenVPN. You can install OpenVPN from your device's app store or follow the link in the User Portal.

The User Portal is available to all remote access users. You can download the installers and instructions for the configuration of your endpoint device. Your UTM system administrator must provide you with your user credentials for accessing the User Portal.
