Cloud agent

The cswitch-agent command lets you start, stop, and restart the cloud agent from the global configuration mode on the switch. You can use it to troubleshoot Sophos Fusion connection issues without scheduling downtime for a full switch restart. You can also use this command to remove a switch from Sophos Fusion.

cswitch-agent

Syntax

[start|stop|restart|deregister] service cswitch-agent

Options

start

Starts the cloud agent and resumes communication with Sophos Fusion.

stop

Stops the cloud agent. This disconnects the switch from Sophos Fusion.

restart

Stops and immediately restarts the cloud agent. The switch will briefly disconnect from Sophos Fusion but will resume communication once the cloud agent restarts.

deregister

De-registers the switch from Sophos Fusion. The switch still appears in Sophos Fusion, but its status will be Offline until it's removed.

Note

You can't register the switch from the command line. You must remove the switch from Sophos Fusion, register it, and synchronize the settings. See Add switches.
