Bandwidth Control

Bandwidth control lets you define the bandwidth settings for a specific port's inbound and outbound rate limits.

To configure bandwidth control, do as follows:

  1. Go to Configure > QoS > Bandwidth control.
  2. Select a port.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select On or Off from the Ingress drop-down menu to turn bandwidth control on or off for inbound traffic.
  5. Enter the Ingress rate (kbps). The value must be a multiple of 16. The range is 16 to 10000000.
  6. Select On or Off from the Egress drop-down menu to turn bandwidth control on or off for outbound traffic.
  7. Enter the Egress rate (kbps). The value must be a multiple of 16. The range is 16 to 10000000.
  8. Click Apply.
