Admin
You can access the admin menu by clicking your profile icon at the top-right of the Dashboard.
Note
The profile icon shows the first letter of the signed-in admin's username. For example, the default admin
account shows the letter A
.
You can do the following tasks on the admin menu:
-
Reset: Reset the switch back to its default settings.
Warning
After a reset, you lose all configuration changes, including the IP address and Sophos Central registration, and you must re-register the switch with Sophos Central. We recommend backing up the switch before you reset it.
-
Reboot: Restart the switch.
Warning
The switch's power supply also restarts, causing connected PoE devices to shut down. To keep connected PoE devices powered during a restart, use Continuous PoE Power.
-
Continuous PoE Power: Restart the switch and continue providing PoE power to connected devices. Available on all PoE models except the CS101-8FP.
- Logout: Sign out of the switch.
