Sophos Fusion

You can manage your AP6 series access points in Sophos Fusion.

Register your access point

In order to manage your access point in Sophos Fusion, you must first register it.

To register the access point, do as follows:

  1. Connect the access point to power and to your network. The LED starts blinking green to indicate it is trying to communicate with Sophos Fusion.

    When it receives an IP address, it tries to communicate with Sophos Fusion. You have 24 hours to complete the next steps.

  2. In Sophos Fusion, go to Wireless > Access points and click Register.

  3. Enter the serial number from your access point, found on the back of the device or on a sticker in the box, and click Register.

    You can see the registration progress under Access point registration status.

  4. After a few minutes, your access point will be ready to manage.

Note

If the access point doesn't register within the 24-hour window, you must reset it and repeat the registration process.
