DD/WW/MM password

The access point can create a new password automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. The access point can send the passwords to specified email addresses.

DD/WW/MM password settings

You can configure the following settings for the DD/WW/MM password settings:

  • DD/WW/MM password: Turn the DD/WW/MM password on or off.
  • WPA type: Choose WPA2/WPA3 Mixed mode-PSK, WPA3 only, or WPA2 only.
  • DD/WW/MM type: Select the frequency at which the access point creates a new password. Choose from Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  • DD/WW/MM period: Set the day of the week or month and the hour of the day the access point creates a new password.

Next update time shows the next time the password will change.

DD/WW/MM password email settings

To send DD/WW/MM password emails, you must configure the following settings:

  • Email notification: Turn DD/WW/MM password emails on or off.
  • Email subject: Enter a subject line for the password email.
  • SMTP server address: The IP address of your SMTP server.
  • SMTP server port: The port to use when connecting to the SMTP server.
  • Sender email: This email address appears as the sender.
  • Recipient email: The access point sends the DD/WW/MM password email to this address.
