Microsoft Teams integration

You can send new Sophos Cloud Optix alerts to a specific Microsoft Teams channel using an incoming webhook.

You must first create a workflow in Microsoft Teams for your channel. Then, sign in to Sophos Cloud Optix and use the workflow URL to connect to that channel.

Note

In Microsoft Teams, the webhook is created using the Workflows app and may be labeled as a workflow URL. It functions as a standard webhook endpoint.

To integrate with Microsoft Teams, do as follows:

  1. In Microsoft Teams, add an incoming webhook for your channel using the Workflows app.

    See Create incoming webhooks with Workflows for Microsoft Teams.

  2. Copy and save the workflow URL.

  3. In Sophos Cloud Optix, click Integrations.
  4. Click Microsoft Teams.
  5. Select Enable to turn on the integration.
  6. In the Workflows URL field, paste the workflow URL you copied from Microsoft Teams.

  7. Click Send OTP.

    Sophos Cloud Optix sends a one-time passcode (OTP) to your Teams channel.

  8. Go to your Teams channel and copy the OTP.

  9. Return to Sophos Cloud Optix and paste the OTP into the Enter your OTP field.
  10. Select the alerts that you want to send to your Teams channel.
  11. Click Save.
