Legacy: Troubleshooting for AWS

If there are problems with adding an AWS environment, run the uninstall script and try again.

Warning You must only use this help section if you opened your Sophos Cloud Optix account before November 17, 2020. If you opened your account after that date, you must use the instructions under Add your AWS environments.

You can find a link to the uninstall script in Sophos Cloud Optix. To uninstall an AWS environment, do as follows.

  1. Go to Settings and click Environments.
  2. Make sure you're on Cloud Environments.
  3. Find the environment with problems and click the dustbin icon.

    You see a dialog that includes the script you need.

  4. Run the script provided.
  5. Then add your AWS environment again.
