IPS policies

Low

Explanation

Prevent network attacks using IPS rules. The firewall matches signatures with traffic patterns and takes the action specified in the rule. The IPS signatures identify threats and specify a recommended action to take when the firewall encounters matching traffic. Predefined and or custom signatures can be used. IPS protection is turned off by default.

Resolution

  1. Go to PROTECT > Rules and policies > Firewall rules.
  2. Open your LAN to WAN or WAN to LAN firewall rule.
  3. Go to Other security features > Detect and prevent exploits (IPS).
  4. Ensure that Detect and prevent exploits (IPS) is not set to None.
  5. Click Save.
