Bandwidth Usage

You can configure the bandwidth used for updating the Sophos agent software on your endpoint computers.

Restriction

This setting is for Windows computers only.

Click the General Settings icon General Settings icon.. Under General, click Bandwidth Usage.

The default bandwidth limit is 256 Kbps. This limit doesn't apply to updates downloaded from Update Cache.

You can specify a custom bandwidth limit or unlimited bandwidth.

You can set a low limit to ensure that updates don't cause computers to run slowly.

Note

You can't limit bandwidth for an initial installation.
