Sophos Anti-Virus: Version release dates and the tables in this article provide more information on the availability of Fixed Extended versions.
Use these versions if you want to remain on a version that changes less frequently or if you need to roll out over a prolonged period.
Note
For the best protection, Sophos recommends to use the Preview or Recommended version. Sophos reserves the right to update subscriptions at short or no notice where major issues or vulnerabilities have been identified. We will endeavor to notify customers in advance but this may not always be possible due to the fast-moving nature of security and protection technologies and the need to release updated protection as quickly as possible.
Please be aware that there are no fixed versions of Exploit Prevention. When a new version of Exploit Prevention is released, it will change across all endpoints it is installed on, regardless of the subscription in use (Preview, Recommended, Previous Recommended, and all of the extended versions).
